Principal, Head of Strategy & Distribution

Kassim Gaffar is Head of Strategy & Distribution and a principal at Kopernik. He has been in the investment industry since 1998. Earlier in his career, he held positions at Vinik Asset Management, Tradewinds Global Investors, Smith Barney/Citigroup Global Wealth Management, SEI Investments, and Morgan Stanley Dean Witter’s private client group. Kassim has a Bachelor of Arts in economics from the University of Virginia. He has received the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
