General Counsel & Chief Compliance Officer

Sarah Bertrand is the General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer at Kopernik. She is responsible for all aspects of Kopernik’s legal and compliance functions. Sarah has been in the investment industry since 1990 and joined Kopernik in 2014 as a senior compliance associate. Earlier in her career, she held positions at Transamerica Asset Management and 40|86 Advisors. Sarah has a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Ball State University, an MBA from Anderson University, and a JD from Stetson University College of Law. She is a member of the Florida Bar.
